I believe the Knowledge base has a Year End checklist. Depending on which Modules you use, there could be nothing really special or a lot that needs to be done.

Make sure all your settings in each modules settings are the way you want them for history purposes.

If you use the Payroll Module and do all your own Tax Reporting there is a lot that needs to be done.

Usually I make a Payroll Company for each year and copy the main companies GL and Payroll to that years Payroll Company.

Also a good Backup before closing.

There really is a lot of different things that need to be done depending on your specific needs and modules
