Any way to restrict quantities/dollar amount per customer?

Hi!

Client approached me about limiting a certain product line to $150 per month per customer not in a certain group.

For example, a customer that purchased a line opener deal, would be able to purchase an unlimited amount of for resale items from this product line. However, if someone is purchasing these items to try out, they would be charged an additional 15% and be limited to $150 a month of not-for-resale product.

Is this possible from within SAGE 100 (they are using Sage 100 SQL, version 2015)?

I've thought about having a custom report or something similar, but I'm open to suggestions. The users are not the most tech savvy, and the simpler the better.

Script with User Defined Tables. I would get Connex to write it.

The reason I suggested this is because in one of the very first examples of scripting was one in which discounts were automatically entered into an order based on purchase totals of a client. The purchase history was recorded in user defined table and the script read and updated the table so it is not too hard to see this method applied to what you want to do and Connex is one of the best script writers out there.
