In Fiscal Year Maintenance under General Ledger, Setup you can define the year - including the number of periods and beginning & ending date for each period.

Not clear what you are asking with that last comment. Please give an example of what you mean by that.

No. Sage 100 does not allow multiple fiscal years per calendar. The fiscal year table is keyed by a simple 4 digit year.

It's possible yes. In fiscal year maintenance, select the year, and change the number of fiscal periods from 12 or 13 down to the number needed for your fiscal year change.

I think what the OP is asking is can you have a year 2016 that ends in say February and another year 2016 that ends in December, in other words 2 x 2016 years with different year end dates. A stub year implies less than 12 months or a typical full calendar year. That is not possible.

We've done this for a customer who was changing their fiscal year end date and it throws off the name of the fiscal year (e.g. fiscal 2017 = calendar 2016). It is not ideal, but it works.
