CR error

CR error - posted a deposit and it did not update correctly. Shows posted in CR but not in AR. Its like the deposit is hung out there. How to fix? I can't delete the deposit because it is gone. I did update and its just caught up! I need to rebuild or sort files I think. Advice?

Posted in CR? Do you mean in the GL?

Posting a deposit through AR Cash Receipts entry.

Sounds like you need to go to File - Run and enter ARWAR4.

Jenmw,

Got the fact that you were doing an AR Cash Receipt entry, but you original post says "Shows posted in CR but not in AR."

What do mean by it "Shows posted in CR"? Do you mean that the deposit no longer shows in AR cash receipt entry thus implying that it was posted, but when you look in customer maintenance you don't see the deposit applied? And you don't see it posted to the general ledger either?

If yes, Brian's suggestion sounds on point.
