Paperless Office DTR, not updated, pdf closed, employee runs DTR again, then updates register.

Why does the journal number no longer link to the daily transaction register?

Do I just delete the DTR that was created via a .pdf, that is not updated, since the system reproduced the DTR and we updated it.

Also, why doesn't the DTR keep the journal link after it was not updated, then rerun and then updated?
