Can anyone duplicate this bug in Sales Kit Maintenance?

SOLVED

I am on Sage 100 Advanced 2017 (5.40.1.0). I am getting an error message in Sales Kit Maintenance when I perform a particular set of actions and I'm able to duplicate it in the test company. I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this, or if it's fixed on a later release.

1. Create a kit item with an extended description.

2. Go into sales kit maintenance and enter the kit item.

3. Enter a component item number.

4. Before entering a quantity, click on the orange extended description button. (We do this to double check the quantities in the kit before entering the quantity.) Close out of that screen.

5. Enter the component quantity and try to go to the next line.

The error message comes up "Missing Component Item Code".

What seems to be happening is that by clicking on the extended description button, it's "losing" the component item code and thinks you never entered it.

I've been able to duplicate this on entering a NEW kit, or trying to add a component item to an existing kit.
