Hi, I am assisting our management team find an inventory management product for a healthcare facility.  So that we can maintain the product that is used at a higher level, than just counting on our fingers.  haha.

We are currently using MAS90 and are looking to upgrade our system soon and wanted to know how the inventory program works with Sage?  Can it create bar code labels and collect inventory data off of bar codes?  Does Sage provide the equipment for bar codes?  Any info would be helpful.

    This is really a question for your Sage Partner / reseller.  Implementing inventory / scanners / bar codes is a significant process and you'll want detailed help from an expert.  (ScanForce and ScanCo both integrate with Sage 100...).

    As my esteemed colleague Kevin mentioned you should hold a planning session with your reseller. That is what they are there for and can arrange demos of your various options. Now as far as printing bar code labels I normally advise people to use the program Bartender, the Enterprise edition, which is extremely versatile.  I have even set one up to link to a button in Sage 100 so you could print from inside of Sage 100.

    Also Lana if you are calling it MAS90 I suspect you are on a really old version like v4.?  In this case you would need to work with your reseller to plan so that the new Sage 100 works as desired.
