Create a new form code and see if it does it on that form code.

Thanks for the idea.  I just tried that and it did the same thing on the new form code.  It is only the misc charge lines that are ending up near the top instead of the bottom where they should be.

Does this happen to anyone else?  We are running the latest 2018 SP3.

Super odd for sure. I think we need to engage sage support on this one. Perhaps rebuild data dictionary? 

Make sure the work table is empty.  Double-check that your rpt does not have edited group / sort options.  (A new form code does not guarantee your customized report is not being used... depending on where the file is located).

Thanks much.  The work table is definitely empty. When I created the new code it did bring in the stock "plain" form that ships with sage so I really do not think it was a modified form.  However I will triple check. 

It is very strange since it is happening in all 5 company codes. It leads me to believe it is something on a wider scale.

I'd preview, leave the preview open, then use DFDM to take a look at the raw data in the temp file created as the work table for the invoice.  That should show you in the sorting is done by the printing process, or the report file.

Hello l  ran through this process as you idnicated and the work file is being created incorrectly with the /misc records as the first record in the file even though they are near the bottom of the invoice line items during data entry. And the invoice form seems to pull directly from that work file without any sorting and such.

I am baffled by this.. I am looked everywhere to see if some setting in sage erp 2018 could be causing this issue but I am not seeing anything.

We are testing this on stock sage forms.
