For Avalara users - where is the tax exempt number stored?

Question

I've been asked to write a few tax related reports and I realized that because we use Avalara, the standard AR_CUSTOMER.TAXEXEMPTNO field is not used and instead Avalara is storing this data elsewhere. 
 
 I'm hoping it isn't entirely in the cloud and there is an Avalara UDF or UDT somewhere that holds this data locally for reporting? 
 
 Any help would be greatly appreciated!

UPDATE: It is a little odd to try to report against but I've found the data is stored in the AR_CustomerShipToTaxExemptions table
