Disassembly Production Reversal

Does any one know how Sage chooses with Production to Reverse when choosing Disassembly Type: Production Reversal?

I just tried it for the first time in my test company and noticed it reversed the Production I wanted along with one from 7/10/2015.

Thanks,

  • A Bill of Material Disassembly Entry uses the Bill Current Revision for the transaction, regardless of the value you choose in Disassembly Type (Produced Item, Purchase Item, Production Reversal).  Reversals also reverse Scrap, Yield, and /Misc Charges.  The transaction does not reverse a "specific" Transaction.

    •  Select Produced Item for disassembly of a manufactured item and to return its components to stock.

    • Select Purchased Item for disassembly of a purchased item and to salvage its component parts.

    • Select Production Reversal to reverse previously posted production entries. Scrap and yield percentages and miscellaneous items and charges are factored in the calculation of the extended quantity for this type only.

Additionally, if you are referring to the FIFO cost tier "consumed" by the disassembly, you don't get to choose.

Thank you so much for offering all this information. I was just wondering what that did.

What I need from it is just Produced Item, I just didn't know what the others did.
