Unable to Change and Delete Items.

Question

Hi, 
 I am trying to use the Delete and Change Items Utility, (Module>Inventory Management>Utilities> Delete and Change Items). When I try to open the utility, a window appears saying, "You cannot proceed with unposted data in Item Valuation Selection entry." When I try to open any of the utilities beginning with "Item Valuation Selection," a window appears saying, "You cannot proceed with unposted data in Delete and Change Items." 
 
 How can this issue be resolved?

Try using the Item Valuation Change Maintenance task to view what might be pending and if still valid, try to use the Item Valuation Change Register/Update task to process them. It sounds like you might have a VI import job set up to import into either of the utilities' main table which I don't believe the import warns of data in the other like it does when you launch them from the menu.
