No i havent edited it, I just activated Sales Order before lunch today and going through the motions of learning the module i came accross what looks like abroken element in the report. I do have crystal reports on my pc but i dont know enough about it to try to critique the Sales Order report.
Check the ODBC security settings. This happens because of one of two things. If you try to edit and the refresh in designer or if you have ODBC security turned on and Sales Order module is not included.

Do you have any Sales Orders entered, in your company where you have just activated the module? Maybe try printing just a single Sales Order from Order Entry (Print Order button). Maybe set up a new form code, and see if that resolves the issue.
