Check IM_ItemCost to ensure the TierType column is correct.  When blank (or wrong), the transaction would post, but the inventory would not be consumed as it should have been (due to the bad key field value).

Use Excel to query the table I mentioned.  If you don't know how... you'll going to want to get Sage support or your Sage Partner involved.  Things only get more complicated after diagnosing the problem.
