Drop ship capability

A company using Sage PRO is evaluating both Sage100 and Sage300 for a new system.  The company does all of its business via drop ship.  In PRO this consists of creating a PO from the SO, then creating the shipment and invoice in SO/AR when the PO is received.  Sage 300 does not do drop ship this way.

Does Sage100 have a drop ship capability?  (I searched the help but found nothing).  If so, could you give me a short description of how it works?

    In Sage 300 ERP version 2012, Standard Drop ship process works in the similar manner as it works in Sage pro ERP except it doesn’t create shipment on receiving the Purchase order in Sage 300 ERP.

    To overcome the above shipment problem, we also have created an Add-on for Drop shipment in Sage 300, wherein we create P/O Purchase Order through the Sales Order entry screen and on Shipment of Sales Order it automatically ship the sales order.  Please refer the below link for getting more detail on our product.

    Regarding working of Drop shipment in Sage 100, it works in a similar fashion as in Sage Pro except of order not being shipped automatically on receiving the purchase order.  You can refer help file in Purchase Order entry in section “Enter Ship Order” which explains the working of Drop Shipment order in Sage 100. You can also access Sage 100 help files from the path “Program files\Common Files\Sage\Common Components\Help\4.50” on machine where Sage 100 is installed.
