Custom Office Resources

Is there any decent learning resources for "custom office" written in "plain English"? Any tutorials?

I am trying to create an "Invoice History Inquiry" panel under vendor maintenance so I can see the history file that we brought in from Peachtree. This option IS available under "Customer Maintenance" under top right corner pull down menu "Invoice History Inquiry". I basically want to duplicate the same tab and link it to my AP invoices.

Any direction would be appreciated.
