Add Tracking Number to Purchase Order - Please VOTE!

In Purchase Order it would be great to have a field for the Tracking Number available for a couple of reasons.

1. To be able to have the tracking number available to track the shipment instead of searching thru paperwork.

2. Having the shipment tracking number on the PO would assist with reconciliation when utilizing Landed Cost in an RGE.

(i.e. Make sure we've received the freight company invoice and know what it was for.)

If a PO Tracking Number field could be carried thru to history it would be very helpful.

You realize of course that you could create a UDF and have it flow to history.

Sure, we could create UDF's, we do that all of the time. However, when an idea arises that may benefit others, why not post it on the Ideas website to incorporate it into the software? That's what the Idea Page is for. :)

Also, multiple tracking numbers are an issue for PO's. We would like a convenient way to actually obtain the tracking number if we have not yet physically received the goods. So the purpose for this is two-fold, to provide the tracking number as a reference before and after the product arrives.
