Does anyone have any idea if it's possible to run a batch file (or .exe) using BOI? The trigger would be on table post write or column post validate (check box).
Thanks!

Sure. Here is a whole article about it: technet.microsoft.com/.../ee692837.aspx
And in case it is not obvious, you create a user defined script and call the batch file from there using the information in the article.
I have tried this code, but there must be an error that I can't see. They're running Sage 100 Advanced my guess is that the error is appearing on the server console. I'll be sure to check the console when I'm onsite and post the code once I have it working.
Thanks for your help!
If tasks are spawning from the server, be sure that the path to your batch / exe file is relative to the server (eg. UNC instead of mapped drive), and accessible to the account used to run the service.
