Share13 , since your request is specific to a Sage solution, I think you'll have a better chance of getting an answer in the Support Communities (instead of the Business Communities).  I will move this thread there for you.

You should be able to run a VI import to set ordered = received (...export the received value, then import that as the ordered quantity), but if invoiced does not equal received then your purchases clearing will be off unless you correct that properly (with an invoice).

You can also go to purchase order | utilities | purge obsolete purchase orders.

However,  if you have orders where received vs invoiced do not match (i.e. purchases clearing) it will not update the general ledger.   You will have to do a general journal entry to adjust the purchases clearing g/l account for the items that were purged.
