Missing Purchases Clearing GL account in Daily Transaction register

I have a client on 4.3.  They had deleted some product lines but there were still items on PO's with those product line.  I had them recreate the product lines (checked them to be sure they were correct) but they still have instances were the GL account for purchases clearing is missing in the daily transaction register.   In the past, recreating the product lines had fixed it for me but I am perplexed why it is still happening.    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Not Certain, but I think in that version, all of the account numbers are stored in the PO Lines at the time the line is created.  If the PL did not exist for the item code, it would make it blank, and even creating the PL after the fact won't fix it.  I recall that being a problem in older versions.  If this is the case, I think you can put the accounts on the lines with VI.
