Not Certain, but I think in that version, all of the account numbers are stored in the PO Lines at the time the line is created.  If the PL did not exist for the item code, it would make it blank, and even creating the PL after the fact won't fix it.  I recall that being a problem in older versions.  If this is the case, I think you can put the accounts on the lines with VI.

Those are all populated but they are the inventory account not purchases clearing which is the account that is always missing.
