What version of Sage 100?

Do the original sales orders print correctly or were they missing when the sales orders were printed?

Are you using Avatax (Sage Sales Tax)?


Recently had a client that was inconsistently losing the last line on sales orders (it seems to have been items with extended descriptions - but that is not 100% confirmed. We found that by making the last line of the sales order a comment that it does not recur. Also debating whether there was a correlation with the use of Avatax (but have not confirmed this). Client was using Sage 100 - 2015 PU 2 at the time with Avatax.

No we are not using Avatax and most of our items don't have extended descriptions. If we enter a sales order and got to sales order inquiry then look at sales order and quote history inquiry, then history tables sometimes are missing line items.

So just to confirm. You look at the unfilled sales order and the item is there and you look at the sales order history inquiry and it is not?

And which version are you running?

Have you gotten a resolution for this? Have a client having the same issue. Line items randomly missing from SO History. On v.2014 PU 6.

See knowledgebase article 62833. There was an issue from using copy to create new sales orders which was fixed in 2014 pu7, 2015, and 2016.

Thank you! I tested it & this is what is happening. I had searched the KB & didn't see this article until I searched using the number. I will see about applying PU7.
