We have serialized equipment that we sell through Sales Order - Invoice, choosing the serial number to be sold and removed from inventory on this invoice. It is removed from the inventory on the main inventory table but does not record a transaction in the Lot Serial Transaction history table nor is it removed from Physical inventory. I can go in through DFDM and see the Qty on Hand in IM_Physical and see that there is not a sale transaction in the Lot Serial Transaction History.

In a test company I have rebuilt all of the IM key files, tried adjusting the inventory through a Sales transaction in Transaction entry, and even adjusted the IM_Physical table in DFDM to read 0 Qty on Hand. Rebuilding key files did not change anything, the sales transaction made our Qty on Hand in the inventory table go negative, and changing in DFDM corrected the Qty on Hand on the Physical Count sheet but the serialized item still showed as available in the transaction entry screen.

I also tried the utility IM_BalanceLotSerTrans_Utl which told me that nothing was out of balance.

We are using Sage 2014 and upgraded in October from version 4.5. Interestingly, this does not appear to have happened since we upgraded to 2014 and I can see SO transactions in the Lot Serial Transaction history in DFDM after the upgrade but not before. This has been an ongoing issue that doesn't cause huge problems but is beginning to pile up. We do not have issues balancing the GL, it is only in the Physical count sheet and Lot Serial Transactions where this is an issue.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
