Change made in version 2016 due to duplicate customer PO's being allowed on multiple SO's. You must have the role for the SO module set to Allow Duplicate Customer PO's. There are also selections in SO Options Entry tab for checking for Duplicates.

Even when logged in as Administrator, with full rights "role", Customer PO field still doesn't get copied over, regardless how we set "allow duplicate PO" option.

Linda is correct. In Role Maintenance on the "Module Options" under Sales Order there is "Allow Duplicate Customer PO Numbers". When you do a new install, this will not automatically be checked so you need to go in and check it. When I do this and have all of the SO Options unchecked, the customer PO number does copy over from Invoice History. Please take one more look at your settings.

I fear I am running out of thoughts. Have you tried running a test by copying a Sales Order from a source other than Invoice History? I am assuming that you verified in AR Invoice History that the Sales Order does have a Customer PO.

Do you have product update 1 installed yet? I am testing this on my install and I am able to copy from SO and get the customer PO to come in but not from Sales Order/Quote History or Invoice History. I have some customizations and mods on my install so need to test further. If it is broken I will let you know.

Yes, PU1 was installed, no mods. You and I are having the same problem: unable to copy Cust PO from histories.
