Hiding columns on a trend report

Hello, I'm new to this community and was hoping to find somebody that can answer a quick question.  I have written a couple of Sage Intelligence trend reports using Sage 100 database and I can't seem to be able to figure out how to not print months that are past the month in the parameter that I set up. For example, if I'm asking for a Feb 2017 report, my columns for the rest of the calendar year will still show and I don't want to show those. I was able to figure out how to make those columns zero but I also want to suppress them based on my parameter. Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well! Here I am back into this thread. I am running into another request from my end user. This has to do with the trend report again. If I have 12 columns on the spreadsheet and I want to print October for example. But in the meantime people have entered data and updated the GL through November. I don't want the columns for Nov and Dec to print or just put zero on those columns. I know it has to do with the formula for each cell but I totally have forgotten if this is an if and then statement that references my parameter for the period and say if it's greater than the period I'm asking for then put zero on the cell.  HELP!!!! I have done this before but maybe it's my old age that is keeping me from remembering which client I did it for and how I did it!!!!
