Is there a way to pull data from a specific source code, like AP or AR?

SOLVED

We are looking for a way to separate our YE AJE's.  It was suggested to us to use a source code named AJ.    We'd like to create a set of financials that shows the unadjusted trial balance, then the AJE's, and then the final balances.

So, my question is if intelligence will allow for me to pull data from a specific source code.

Thanks.

    Hi,

David is correct in saying that you will most likely need the Connector module which enables you to connect to tables within 100 and other ODBC database tables.  Then you can add an expression from those tables either in the form of a field or combining fields using an Excel or SQL formula.  If you do not have the connector module then you can work with your Sage Partner to look for the field/fields you need.

When you say that you looked around and could not find the SourceJournal field where were you looking? Within 100 tables or Sage Intelligence reports? If you were looking in 100 tables and could not find it then maybe someone can offer information beyond what I know for how to find that field or data.  Maybe it would result from a formula of some kind.  Maybe that is the original question.  Slight smile  Maybe submit the question to another 100 group. Once you learn the field/fields you need you work with the Connector to find the field or build it as a formula.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you,

    Sandra.

Thanks for the response.  I may try to look at this myself, but  I think this is over my head as a relative newbie.  I'll probably have to contact my sage partner for help.

    Again, I appreciate the reply.
