Can you use the connector module to connect your Sage 100 ERP to an excel spreadsheet and match up the invoice number from Sage 100 to a column in the spreadsheet called invoice number for example? (sage 100 std v2018)
Can you use the connector module to connect your Sage 100 ERP to an excel spreadsheet and match up the invoice number from Sage 100 to a column in the spreadsheet called invoice number for example? (sage 100 std v2018)
Question:
Is it possible to link Excel Sheet into SAGE 100 specific table and update their data in real-time? For example, I want to update specific column from my Excel (Aged Receivables) and once saved, the counterpart SAGE100 should also be updated and (vice-versa). Thank you in advance.
Read from Sage 100: yes.
Push data from the spreadsheet into Sage 100: no.
Thanks for the info Kevin, but is there any other work around that we can update data using either of the two since excel is capable to connect to SAGE100 using ODBC adapter and able to see tables of SAGE? Anyone who already tried and experience it? I'm still trying to find a solution for that. Thank you.

The Sage 100 ODBC driver is read-only. You absolutely cannot push data from Excel into Sage 100. The whole idea of a system like Sage 100 is to maintain an audit trail of all transactions, and casually editing raw data directly is blocked purposefully.
You can import data from a spreadsheet using the Visual Integrator module, using the Sage business objects, maintaining data integrity.
Thanks for the information Kevin.
