In what way are your clients wanting to use Sage Intelligence with O365 Online? Are you asking for just the use of Excel? Can you provide me an example of how you need Sage Intelligence used on 365 online?

Yes, just Excel.  They are using Sage Intelligence within Sage 100, which uses an add-in in Excel.  As per Sage, O365 Cloud is not supported with Sage Intelligence and requires Excel to be installed locally.  Clients are asking if/when this will be supported because it is inconvenient to need Excel installed locally when already utilizing O365 Cloud.

Sage Intelligence can work with Excel online without Excel being installed but must be signed in to Excel online to run reports.  Sage Intelligence is not a Cloud product.
