For something like this I try and duplicate the way it is done in stock reports.  In this case, a formula field @PrintedByUser with a blank formula.  The value might be passed in to the field automatically.  (I know this works for company code, but have not done it with the User field).

User names for transactions that are reported in the report?  I'm wondering to, the closest I could find was a UserName field but it only listed the user that updated the transaction, not of the person that originated the transaction.

It would really help a whole lot if you identified which module and which tables you were talking about.

Thank you Kevin M.  I too have been trying to find the answer to the question Rick K posted.  Your response lead me to the answer and I successfully added the Printed By User information to a couple forms.  Thank you!
