Task Pane

How can I lock the task pane so I can always see the lists, formulas, and trees. I have looked everywhere for this feature. Sometimes it shows up and sometimes it doesn't.

Hi there.

There is no way to permanently lock the Task Pane in place. However, once it is made visible, it should remain open, unless you close it again.

You can show the Task Pane by using the Show Task Pane button under BI Tools. If you find that the button isn't working then there could be a problem with the registration of the Add-in in the Excel Add-in options. In this case I suggest logging a call with Sage Support as there could be a number of things that can lead to this.

Thank you very much for your response. The button does not work consistently so there must be an issue with the registration of the add-in. I will follow up with Sage Support.

One more thing to keep in mind is that the Task Pane is only available in the Financial Report Designer.
