Limit CI_Item.ShipWeight to only be numbers or a decimal?

I would like to limit users to only be able to enter the numbers 0 to 9 or a decimal in the CI_Item.ShipWeight field. What would be the easiest way to do this?

Sounds like Custom Office will let me do this. I will report back when I have tried it on the results.

Advanced Field Settings or a script.

Beware: AFS are brutally unforgiving. When you enable this, ensure 100% of existing records (including Miscellaneous Items) pass the requirement, otherwise you may run into problems.
