Posting One Journal at a time...

SOLVED

I've uploaded multiple Journal Entries from the VI. How can I post only 1 at a time? (in the example below, I am ready to post GJ-000005, but not GJ-000004 just yet) Will Sage 100 post whatever is in the queue even though the JE contains zero or has been deleted?

Is there a way to get rid of these blank JEs without having to post another JE?

Any and all help is appreciated!!

Wow! Thank you for answering my question so quickly!

When Enabling batches, what impact does this have on anything else? Or is this just another reference that Sage will give me when searching for these transactions? I not only have the option to search it by Entry number, I can now search by batch number if needed? or will this make another connection elsewhere? (I'm not even sure if my question makes sense at this point, apologies)

Turn it on in a test company and see for yourself.  Basically it just adds a screen before you can work with the entries.  When posting, you can select individual batches (or all) for processing.

As Kevin has already stated, batches are mostly used to separate entries.  Separate batches allow you to update one or more batches at a time.  Without batches, all entries are updated.

You can also add the batch number to screen below, using Custom Office:
