Hello - Sage 100 Version 4.05 is no longer supported by Sage.  They did increase the field size in a future version.  I would have to look back to tell you exactly when but currently in the supported versions it is expanded and capable of expanding the ID as well.

The current version has 50 characters for customer name, so upgrading would solve that (and add significant benefits / features).

I think AR in v4.05 was old-framework, so I don't know how much help you'll find here.  If you have the Custom Office module I'd try to add a UDF for customer long name, and pass that through to the work table... but whether that is possible for your truly ancient version (~15 years old?) is something I'd question.

Sure he can. Heck I know people still on Level 2!  Your idea of a UDF to hold full name is the best option at his level.

I'm pretty sure Custom Office was an option back then though, and might not be available in the OP's system.

4.05 wouldn't have a work file you could pass the UDF into, I don't think.  AP wasn't updated until 4.20.  But you could link the file in or use a subreport.
