Hello can the circled field be greyed out like the one next to it...
Since it is Receipt of Goods, you definitely can hide that field - I've done it for numerous clients who do not want stray characters creating a bogus invoice when doing Receipt of Goods.
If you bring it up in Customizer and right click on the field, you can choose under Options the HIDDEN check box.
One-step receipts require the field (where you do ROG + invoice, without a pre-existing PO#).
Isn't that the Invoice Number field (which is 100% required for certain transaction types)?
Technically it might be possible, but Sage programming may undo the field properties you set in Customizer. If you are trying to block entry/ changes in that field, a script might be a better approach (column post-validate, with SetError under the conditions you want to control).
This is the Receipt of Goods panel there is no field label so not sure how to tell.. However you would be correct if this was Receipt of Invoice because the invoice # field is almost the same location..

Thats good news so how ... Is it something easy enough to walk through over this forum?? I assume I'm working under Customize Office.. I have some experience working with the panels ..

RoG entry definitely has a field for Invoice Number, normally in that exact location..

Thanks Bethbowers.. I did verify with mgmt the invoice # and date is needed in ROG so I was able to find the above and hide the fields. So thanks very much!!
