Alias Items

I have several items with more than one vendor and with different alias item numbers and descriptions for each vendor. My purchase orders are printing the correct alias item number, but not the correct alias description. Thank you in advance for your help!

You probably don't want separate inventory items for the same product. I suggest contacting your Sage Consultant or Reseller for assistance.

You will need to write a formula to print the item alias description where appropriate; in crystal reports.

So now I've created separate Sage item numbers for each vendor since I don't know how to use Crystal Reports. And the alias descriptions are STILL not appearing on the purchase orders. What am I doing wrong?
