Purchase Order Report will not print after upgrade to 2017

We are in the process of testing an upgrade to 2017 and currently we cannot print purchase orders.

We get the following prompt to upgrade the report.  " This report must be converted to the latest version of sage 100. Do you want to convert it now?

We select Yes.

Then we get the following error message

The following error occured when attempting to connect. Failed to open the connection. Details: [Database Vendor code: 17] failed to open the connection. Po_PurchaseOrder1 9296_9032_{some random sequence of characters seperated by - }.rpt Details Databse Vendor Code:17

Any ideas?

Create a new form code with no modification and try to print that and see what happens. Do you have third party add-ons? Was the previous form code modified? Fields added?
