Error while installing Sage 100 2016 Product Update 4

I'm installing Sage 100 2016 Product Update 4.

At the end of the migration routine I get an error:

Prepare failed with the following error:

Cannot delete E:\Mas\Sage100_2016\MAS90\Providex.KDFŠ0.

There's no obvious reason why this would do this. I need help figuring out what could cause this issue.

HI Josh, Make sure you are installing the PU with an Administrator level account. Verify that there are NO users logged into the system. Verify that ..\mas90\providex.kdf is NOT marked read only.

We're still having trouble with this. I'm logged in as a domain administrator, ran the PU as administrator.
There's nobody logged into the system (in fact the service needs to be shut off in order for this to run).

Also, the file is not marked as read only.

I'm running the SQL version, by the way.

Have you called Sage Tech support? You get three (five?) free support calls a year if you have kept your subscription up to date.

Premium version is not as common, so those who respond in Sage City may not be as informed on Premium. I personally have only dealt with one client that has premium, so I didn't really consider myself to be an expert. Tech support will probably have better access to better resources.
