If you're not already doing this, try installing the program while logged in as a user with admin rights.  Also, try disabling your anti-virus software during the installation.  I also read where you may be able to safely bypass the error by clicking "Ignore."

I remember running into this years ago running workstation setup on a version of Windows 2008 server that was not compliant with the Supported Platform Matrix for the version I was installing - don't remember which version that was not - maybe 2013.

Thank you for your help, I did reinstall sage and I click ignore.  It needed also the acrobat reader. security also to the lowest point.
