BOM item export

Hi All,

I am doing an export of items including one of the category fields which the client needs updated to the BOM record, What I am trying to figure out is how I can limit my export to only items with BOMs so I don't wind up creating new BOMs with the import. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I never use VI for exports. Try a custom report (or Excel query), linking CI_Item to BM_BillHeader.

VI is very limited for exporting data. Access and Excel give you way better options and functionality, not to mention speed.

Maybe you could add the procurement type of M or N for the Make types and filter only on those.

Geez, sometimes you get "stuck" in thinking about things in one way.. VI can't do it but crystal can do it in spades, so I changed the export to to use it and scheduled with Logicity.. Done
