Does the SData Native Adapter that comes with the Sage 100 2018 installer add additional functionality over the Sage 100 2017 version of the adapter?

SOLVED

We are currently using the SData Native Adapter with Sage 100 2017 to connect our store application with Sage. I'm trying to decide if it would behoove us to upgrade to Sage 100 2018 and the associated SData adapter. I'm wondering if the new adapter gives us more access to modules. I'm particularly interested in the ability to delete SO Invoices and also delete batches. Additionally, do we know if it supports the newer SData 2.0 or even SData 1.1 standards, and along those lines does it support the JSON format now? I've tried digging through the upgrade docs and KB to find this information but scarcely anything is said about SData.

Thanks!

    Greetings,

The Sage 100 SData Native Provider Adapter has not changed. SData 2.0 is not supported nor is JSON.

The Sage 100 SData Native Provider Adapter does not directly control what modules are accessible.  That is primarily based on whether the Module has been updated to the Business Framework.  For the Sage 100 2018 Release with Payroll 2.0 we updated the Payroll Module to the Business Framework so Payroll tables (resources) should be available through Sage 100 SData/

    Thank you,
    Kent
