see KB 46606 but look for the obvious first.  Did someone change some part of the path - rename a folder?  Sage would keep working but paperless and ACH paths and maybe this path, would be messed up.  or did their IT change permissions to that folder?

I'd get Sage 100 installed on the new server if possible when you can.

This is Sage 100 2014... Just the folder name never changed from MAS90.

paperless, ACH path, etc, was all changed and fully functioning. Permissions are everyone/full control on the folders.

I'm not sure where to find KB46606 to review it.

I feel like the wksetup folder and the .msi inside it was created back when the software was installed on the old server. My question is if that is true what do I need to do in order to create a new wksetup folder with a new .msi installer that contains the proper UNC...

The MSI installer does not have a path.  Use the Autorun program.  There may be an existing install on the machine with that path within a local ini.  If the autorun program detects an existing install it should prompt to add / remove / repair.

Sounds to me like the Sage 100 was moved from the old server by copying the folders instead of using the migration utilities.

  If you install a product update,  does it automatically find where to install the update?

thats a true statement! I asked the Sage Consultant how to do it and was told to simply move the data! I knew better but did it anyway

I've not tried removing an update...
