Report Automation in Version 2018

Hello,

Is anybody know whether SAGE 100 - 2018 version has built in functionality to automate the reports and other tasks? or still we have to use "Knowledge Sync" or such type of production to automate the processes?

    Task Scheduler has some abilities to run scheduled Sage reports, but it is not as full featured as KS / Visual Cut and other 3rd party reporting engines (which require report redevelopment to not use Sage work tables).

    Thanks for your reply. So this "Task Scheduler" is the only way to schedule a task in SAGE 100, Same way it will be available in version 2018 right?

    So I try to use it  and wanted to set task as the custom report that I just put it. But when I click on "Tasks" tab  and  selected the module where I put the new custom report, on the next column "Task" , i do not see the report i wanted to schedule. So How do I select the report?

    Also, the "Task Scheduler" does not have a way to send out an email once task is finish, right? So in that case how do i copy a report on a network drive?

    I do not believe Custom Reports are an option.  The only emailing possibilities would be through Paperless settings, but I've never done that before.

    As I said, it is not as full featured as 3rd party reporting engines, but you can do things not possible without the use of Sage business objects (like running an Aging report to update aging buckets in AR_Customer).
