Did they drop the prerequisite for .net 3.5 and 4.x in Sage 100 2018?
Was just looking at the supported platform matrix and noticed there doesn't appear to be a reference to it anymore? Or is this an oversight in the documentation?

.net 4.x is still a requirement and attempts to install if the installation program does not see it during prerequisites check. Also the SPM has not had .net listed since Sage 100 Version 2014. Last…
Hi Tom, Sage 100 2018 does not require .net 3.5 (we stopped installing it after the 2016 release.) 4.5 is installed with 2018.

Server I am working with only has 4.x installed. Decided to try it without the 3.5 and see what happens. Worst case scenario, I uninstall and start over. Install program didn't stop me from going forward.
Sage - can you chime in on this? Overall it seems to be working without 3.5 on the server, but I'm seeing issues getting Aatrix to activate (stuck in demo mode) so I'm not sure.
Hi TomTarget,
Thanks for reaching out! We've forwarded this to the support team, who should be able to respond here shortly.

Last I found it listed was on the SPM for Advanced 2013. If you check the 2018 install files, look in the Prerequisites, you should see DotNet folder which includes 4.x installation file

Thank you.
Odd, I thought I found reference to it in the SPM for 2017.
Thank you.
