Sage 100 ERP 2014 not responding

It's been about a month now that my customer is getting a "Sage 100 ERP (Not Responding)" problem.  Which was running on a Windows 2008 R2 server with Sage 100 ERP Version 2014.  The only fix would be to restart the server and it would work for a few minutes or for an entire day. Well sometime we would not have to restart the server and Sage 100 would be working again.

So we went ahead and put in a temporary server with Windows Server 2012 with Sage 100 ERP Version 2014 and transferred the data.  It worked fine for a couple of days and then again the problem appeared.  Again restarts would fix the problem for a few minutes or hours or even an entire day.  Sometimes it would start working again without a restart.

All the workstations are running Windows 10 Pro on a local domain with various antivirus programs.

Have you tried turning off or turning down the Windows DEP (Data Execution Prevention) setting? In the Sage Knowledge Base (KB) you can type in 17853 (the KB ID number) in the Search to find it. Also for antivirus it's SUPER import you exclude file extensions used by Sage. Type in 45806 for the Search. NOTE: It's missing file extension PVK so add that to your exclusion list. There are other possibilities as well but but start with these two.

I haven't tried turning DEP off, so I just did. I will monitor if problem shows up again.  Thank you.
