You can reset the MAS_Reports password using a Sage utility on the Sage server... but do not change it from within SQL (because that would break printing from within Sage).  Someone with access to the Sage server, and admin SQL permissions, needs to do that.

However, that should not be necessary unless you need to refresh the field listing.  (Preview will never show anything for work table reports).

You can make your changes (to a custom form code, not editing the report version in \MAS90\Reports\), save, then test from within Sage 100... all without knowing the password.

Thanks, Kevin.   The issue I'm having in addition to the above problem is being able to create my own reports.  I keep getting asked the same stuff when I try to use the wizard or create a report from scratch.   I've asked my tech guy and he says our sage person should know, and my sage person says the tech guy should know.

Then get your IT to change the MAS_Reports password the proper way (using the Sage utility from the server).  Then you just type it in when working on report design.

Don't use Integrated Security for reports that will run from within Sage 100.

(There really should be a KB article for data source issues with report design in Premium... I expect there are instructions within one of the PDF documents but that is not overly convenient).
