I have a user who created a custom view in the Sales Order Entry Search

Today the View is missing.

Are views an object that can be copied from a Sage backup?

Are view specific to a single user?

Are created views available under any company the user logs on to?

Yes, view is specific to a single user. You can create you own views by going into custom (located at the bottom left).

All ALE data (default and custom) resides in the same set of SOA files, so restoring one is not possible (without restoring everything). It's easier to re-create for sure.

Key includes company and user.
