sota.tmp is becoming blank sota.ini file

Hi,

I've been getting multiple complaints regarding a "No servers available" error when users attempt to start Sage 100 2020

After doing a little research, I found that it's due to the sota.ini file becoming blank for seemingly no reason. I've already perused the information in this thread:

https://www.sagecity.com/support_communities/sage100_erp/f/sage-100-technical-and-installation-discussions/92871/sota-ini-file-is-changed-to-a-blank-file

None of the fixes suggested in there have worked for me thus far: I've removed Webroot AV entirely, I've tested the Outlook / Sage interaction (nothing changed), and I've confirmed that all permissions are as they should be.

Has anyone seen this behavior before and have any suggestions?

Thank you very much for your time.
