.docx attachments in memos causes Sage 100 to crash

SOLVED

When launching an attachment that has a .docx extension from our customer memo screen, we receive a "Sage 100 has stopped working" message. This issue is happening on all our windows 10 machines that have office 2016 and above. We have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Both office 2016 and sage from the machine and the issue still occurs. The issue only happens with the attachment is a .docx. It works fine with .pdf. We are using Sage 2019 Premium. 

Has anyone else seen this issue? Any help would be appreciated.
