Installing Sage 100 Standard with PU6 on a new W11 Pro workstation, fully updated.
Near the end of the install, it failed to register C:\windows\syswow64\ss32x25.ocx
Tried to manually register it too, but failed also.
Interestingly, the Release notes for 2023 (7.20.0.0) for AP item 19 says:
"Error 1904. Module C:\Windows\SysWOW64\SS32X25.OCX failed to register." no longer occurs when installing Sage 100 Standard client on Windows 11 v. 22H2."
Why would there be a fix for this issue in 2023 but not in 2021, which has not been retired?
Any idea how to deal with this?
