Website integration

We have a customer currently in v4.3 (waiting for SWK POS) ready to move to v4.5 within the next 4 weeks.  They are building a complete website with ecommerce using Magento (?).  What integration tool would be best to use to integrate (read/write) data to MAS?  Web Services?  SData?  What version of MAS do I need to be at in order for either of these to work?

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance, Robert

    Robert,

A few supportive thoughts.... Magento has a few different packages, one is open source.  I have a number of developer friends that swear by Magento.  It is one of the standards today for large and small shopping carts.  I saw the latest Walmart site was developed in Magento for example, not the free small business version I imagine.  It is very powerful and should allow the users or your team to add products very easily.  Go online and check out Magento and the sample sites.  You should be able to get answers there.

    Robert,

What have you come up with? I too am looking to integrate Mas V4.5 with a Magento website and am thinking that Web Services is the way to go, but have seen several other options via products like Sync Tool by websitepipeline... sage100.websitepipeline.com/synctool it uses CSV or XML files to push and pull data from MAS.

    Hi Robert,

I am also looking to develop same kind of thing, i want to create web service for my Invoice management system. Do you get any solution for this? I am more interested to develop API which can fetch data directly from client computer without CSV/XML import export.

    Thanks,
    Jay
