Crystal Reports XI R2 Upgrade to CR 2008

SUGGESTED

Hi.  Does SAGE 100 ERP Support Crystal Reports 2008.

If it does, how do I upgrade?

I want to take advantage of the additional functionality, "Calculated Members" in cross-tab reporting

Thanks.

You have to use the version that comes with Sage 100 ERP aka MAS90/200 or you will "break" the forms and reports and nothing will run.

Hi.  Thanks for your reply.  I am not sure what you mean by "Broken" forms.  I think you mean CRXIR2 RPT file is not compatible with CR2008 or CR2011 when ran from within SAGE100ERP.  I believe my work around then is to create a new RPT file in CR2008/2011 Designer place it on the desktop and run it through the SOTAMAS90 ODBC.

If any has any other suggestions, it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

SAGE 100 ERP ONLY works with Crystal Reports 2011.  If you redo the built in reports with CR 2008, like BigLouie stated, you'll break the forms and nothing will run from within the MAS interface.

If you are just doing a standalone crystal report that can run outside the MAS interface, then it doesn't matter what version of crystal you use.

You just need to be careful then when modifying any built in report in MAS otherwise you will save it in the wrong version.

    Good advice above.

My notes show the following compatibilities.

    MAS 90 4.3  -  Crystal 10

    MAS 90 4.4 - 4.5    Crystal 11.5

    Sage 100 2013   Crystal 2011
