Not possible with VI. Most users export the file, create a new file, re-init the file and import all new records.

I thought you had the ability to run a Providex program "On Execution" as a part of a VI job.  I'm speaking of the Perform button on the VI job maintenance screen.

I guess you could write a script to delete the records but then why use VI, just use a script to write out the new records also.

I think that deleting the records is much easier than all the field validation and the default fields that are filled in automatically that goes on in VI when you import records.  I'd like to have VI do the heavy lifting.
